Driver Alert app for iPhone and iPad

The Driver Alert app tells you when your family and/or coworkers are driving. This allows you to choose not to send messages to them until they have finished driving. Sending messages to someone who is driving could distract them, potentially causing a dangerous situation or crash. The Driver Alert app should reduce distracted driving due to mobile phone use (MPUWD).

You will need the Invite Code from your email to start using this app since accounts are currently created on our web portal. The web portal is also used to setup a group of people that share driving status with each other.

The app will use the phones sensors to determine if you are driving and share this status with the people selected on the web portal. An optional bluetooth device (beacon) can be placed in your car to provide the app with more accurate driving status information.
